Assignment Priority Calculator is a practical study and organization resource built for students balancing multiple graded assignments and competing due dates. Transparent adjustable priority scoring across due date, grade weight, importance, effort and progress. The editable workbook separates data entry, tracking, and live summary information so customers can use it with their own subjects and academic schedule. How the score works. Priority = 3×urgency + 2×importance + 0.12×grade weight + difficulty − 0.5×remaining hours − 0.08×progress percentage. Urgency is max(0, 10 minus days remaining), so an overdue assignment rises above 10. Interpretation. Higher scores indicate greater attention under this particular heuristic. It is not a scientific optimization algorithm and does not replace instructor requirements. Scenario review. Try different effort estimates and update progress frequently. Split assignments larger than six hours into milestones before acting on the score. The package includes a worked example, an explanation of the underlying decisions, and checklists for reviewing progress. No results are guaranteed; adapt the examples to institutional requirements and your own realistic capacity.
